1936 Kay Old Kraftsman Violin Shaped Guitar
This is a rare 77 year old fiddle head guitar from Kay/Old Kraftsman that could not be mass produced and was made by hand in limited numbers. The top and bottom are solid maple and extend beyond the sides as in violin construction. The violin like bridge and hand carved tailpiece are other unique features of this instrument. I was surprised while inspecting the guitar to find "Made by Kenny Hembrys" carved into the underside of the hand made tailpiece. The instrument is a real experience to play and your sure to enjoy its unique minimal bracing, and open sound. The top bout is 11" wide and the bottom bout is 15" respectively. I've never seen anything like this before and I'm sure it will breath new life to your collection with it's incredibly artistic features and uniquely carved violin scroll headstock.
