1966 Guild F-20 Troubadour Sunburst
Here is an awesome 1966 Guild F-20 Troubadour Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, made in Hoboken, NJ. This fine vintage guitar features a beautiful sunburst top, dark stained back and sides finish, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and spruce top.
This is a great little guitar for both finger or flat-picking and has a beautiful warm mid range tone. The guitar responds to the slightest touch and is light weight and comfortable to hold while playing. This is an extremely well-built guitar, much lighter in construction than 1970's Guilds and easily a match in sound for similar Martin offerings from the same era.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has no significant damage with the exception of a slight center seem in the top finish, small amount of headstock overlay lift and light play wear. Measures 39 1/2 in. (100.3 cm.) long, 13 3/4 in. (34.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8 in. (10.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 1/2 in. (622 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.) Action at the low E 12th fret measures 2.78mm.
Guitar comes with it's original Guild case as well as original Guild branded white leather strap and complete set of original Black Diamond strings. These guitars are making a real comeback and are by far the best bang for the buck. Perfect if your looking for a nice vintage guitar with excellent sound that is very comfortable to play and appreciate in value over time.
